“A Construction Worker Fell 60 Feet at Hudson Yards”
FDNY’s Rescue Company 1 used rope systems to hoist the worker out — a rescue made possible because they had recently run drills at that site.
The worker was taken to the hospital in critical condition. OSHA and city building officials opened an investigation into the machinery malfunction and the safety of the site.
